Open House is Thursday, April 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. We invite you to visit our campus to see all that we offer our school community. Departments, Clubs, and Student Groups will be present. Various types of food will be sold in front of our campus on Zelzah Ave.
Departments:
- Counseling Department will be available for any parents interested in meeting.
- English Language Arts Department will be playing an assembly video.
- Physical Education Department will be presenting our Fitness Center and giving families the opportunity to be led by students in a 5 minute circuit.
- Science Department - STEM Club participation and demonstrations.
- Social Studies Department will be sharing a Shark Tank Presentation in Room 227.
- Spanish Department will be together in the cafeteria area sharing cultural hands-on activities.
- Visual and Performing Arts Department will be in the MPR for the NAHS Student Art Exhibition.
- All other teachers will either be in their individual classrooms or participating in a Club or Student Group (See Below).
Clubs & Student Groups
- Archery Club - Demonstrating techniques.
- Armenian Club - Sharing aspects of the Armenian culture.
- Art Club - Face painting, semi-permanent tattoos, along with arts and crafts.
- Black Student Union - Sharing the importance of respect for diverse cultures through music/spoken word and the historical relevance of the African diaspora in the Americas.
- Chess Club - Promoting an upcoming tournament and asking for donations of chess sets.
- Class of 2027 - Selling refreshments to support the Class of 2027.
- Class of 2028 - Advertising upcoming events and meeting information for interested students and parents.
- CSF - Fund raising and showcasing volunteer efforts.
- Earth Club - Providing information regarding the club and future plans including displayed images from recycling events and field trips.
- Library Leadership - Providing tours of the library.
- Senior Council - Showcasing all Senior Information for parents and selling Lanyards, Stickers, PROM tickets and Cotton Candy. Countdown to Graduation! Collecting comments, words of advice, and encouragement for our seniors.
- STEM Club - In the gym with demonstrations showcasing our stem electives, club activities, and presentations on student research.
- Yearbook - Selling yearbooks and giving out yearbook stickers.
